Integration

How the catalogue you send and the exports you receive actually move. Pick whichever channel fits your stack — the file formats are identical across all of them.

Sending your catalogue

Any one of these delivers the catalogue CSV. Most customers start in the portal and move to SFTP once it’s a nightly habit.

Portal upload

Drag-and-drop your CSV in the BadgerScout portal (inside Badger Sett). Best for getting started.

SFTP drop

Push the file to a per-tenant SFTP inbox on your own schedule. Best for automated nightly exports from your PIM.

HTTPS upload

POST the file to a pre-signed URL from a script or job. Best for CI-style pipelines.

Receiving exports

The exports come back through whichever channels you enable — often more than one (SFTP for the pipeline, email for the humans).

Portal download

Grab the latest exports from the portal any time.

SFTP pickup

We deposit exports in your SFTP outbox as each snapshot completes.

Scheduled email

A link to the fresh export, mailed to your team on each refresh.

REST pull

GET the latest export for programmatic ingestion into your BI stack.

Cadence

Matches and positioning refresh on a daily snapshot; price history is appended continuously as changes are observed. You choose the snapshot time that suits your morning routine.

Encoding & conventions

  • UTF-8 for every file, in and out.
  • Prices in EUR, decimal point, gross incl. VAT.
  • Timestamps in ISO 8601, UTC.
  • Large exports are gzip-compressed (.csv.gz).
Credentials
Endpoints, SFTP keys, and API tokens are provisioned per tenant during onboarding. This page documents the shapes and channels — your account manager hands over the specific hostnames and secrets.
